SANTA CLARA, Santa Clara County — Santa Clara’s annual street maintenance and rehabilitation program began in late June 2026 and is scheduled to continue through the fall, with final completion projected for December.
The city says its contractor MCK Services is repairing failed pavement, placing asphalt, applying slurry seal, improving accessible curb ramps and renewing pavement markings. Among the named corridors are Cabrillo Avenue between Calabazas Boulevard and Bowers Avenue, and two segments of Los Padres Boulevard.
What drivers should expect
Work is distributed across the street network rather than limited to one intersection. Residents should consult the current city project map and posted no-parking and lane-control signs before travelling. December is an anticipated completion target, not confirmation that all road repairs are finished.
